A note  from the Founder

TJOIA Wellness began with a question I kept returning to.

Where do Christians go when they want to rest deeply, care for their wellbeing and be poured into without feeling as though they have to separate their faith from the experience?

For me, wellness has always been about stewardship. It is about how we care for what God has given us: our minds, our bodies, our spirits, our relationships, our time and the lives we are called to live.

TJOIA Wellness was created with God at the centre. It exists for Christians who want to embrace a holistic approach to wellbeing without compromising their spiritual relationship with the Father for worldly trends. We are deeply conscious of the spaces we create, the language we use, the practices we platform and the experiences we invite people into.

As I began to explore the wellness industry more closely, I noticed how often it leaned towards New Age practices and cultures outside of Christianity. As a Christian, that was not something I wanted to entertain. But I also knew there was a real need for beautiful, thoughtful and restorative spaces where believers could pause, reflect, and be cared for outside of traditional church settings.

That is where TJOIA began.

As I progressed through my career and came into contact with trailblazers, professionals and ambitious individuals across various industries, I began to notice a gap. There were many spaces speaking about success, purpose, rest and personal growth, but far fewer that were truly advocating for God while also providing a considered service for the believer.

When I first plucked up the courage to speak about TJOIA Wellness in corporate settings, I was not sure how it would be received. But it was as if I had opened Pandora’s box. People wanted to hear more. They would say, “I know someone who would love this,” or “I have been looking for something like this.” That response confirmed what I had already sensed: there was a need for spaces like this.

Our spaces are curated with intention and care. They are designed to help people feel relaxed, seen and gently encouraged to return to themselves, their wellbeing and, most importantly, their walk with God.

With 2 decades of experience in sales and marketing, I have spent much of my career thinking about how people experience brands, spaces and communities. I have also developed a deep passion for supporting young people and families from low-income backgrounds, and I am proud to serve on the board of a charity dedicated to this work.

Outside of TJOIA, music is one of my greatest joys. You will often find me singing in the kitchen. I love theatre, time with family and friends, exercise, and long walks with my husband at the weekend.

I was asked once, "What does confidence look like?" and how I want to be known. My answer was simple.

I want to be known for my faith and for experiencing life in a way that encourages others to share their truths. I want to create spaces where people feel relaxed, yet empowered to stand in their truth and pursue their personal goals with all their unique markers and colours.

Above all, I want to be known as someone who served the Lord, not just in words, but in action.

Thank you so much for showing an interest in TJOIA Wellness. I look forward to welcoming you into one of our spaces soon.

With love,
